This is one of our favorite times of the year when all of our favorite stars spend oodles of cash and time prepping for the big event—workouts, cleanses, facials, other procedures we probably don’t even want to know about… How on earth do they get their skin so glossy?! Our heads are still spinning from all the glitz and glam. Take a moment to relive our favorite looks from the Golden Globes. Spoiler: Lots of tulle ahead.
1. Michael, Lupita and Danai
Some of our favorite actors from one of our favorite movies—Black Panther. We’re blinded by Lupita’s gorgeous earrings, but it’s the other accessory we can’t look away from—Michael B. Jordan and his megawatt smile. Swoon.
2. Sandra Oh
Ohhh, Sandra Oh. She definitely killed it in her white Versace gown with ruche detailing and deep v-neck red Versace dress and white, silver and gold Stella McCartney gown during the event, but we are straight obsessed with her after party look. 3. Emily Blunt
The modern Mary Poppins sparkled (per usual) in a hand-embroidered gown by Alexander McQueen. Watch some behind the scenes shot of her glam squad getting her ready here.
4. Kate Beckinsale
Meanwhile the always-gorgeous-seriously-how-does-she-do-it Kate Beckinsale gave every bride a run for her money in a delicate Aadnevik white dress designed with tulle, French lace and leather.
5. KiKi Layne
And can we talk about KiKi Layne’s dress puhlease?! Our favorite accessory for her look? That confidence! Of course, when you have stems like that… This is just one of the dresses she stunned in last night.
6. Constance Wu
In our book, Constance Wu can do no wrong. This small peek of her Vera Wang dress, tied to perfection with a velvet belt gives us all the feels. Get another look at it here.
7. Halle Berry
If anyone needs us, we’ll be in a lab somewhere trying to duplicate the magic potion Halle Berry spritzes on her perfect self to make it so… perfect. Sure, according to her Insta, (which you should totally be following) she follows a Keto diet, trains like a warrior and probably drinks water all dang day, but there has to be some sort of Cocoon pool scene trickery at work too, no?
8. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard
We can’t even with these two. Yes, yes, they are always styled perfectly, but it’s their sense of humor, love (and napkin accessories) that really fill our hearts with joy.
9. Lady Gaga
This one is a little off the red carpet, but it’s a favorite for capturing the joy of Lady Gaga’s big win. (But definitely don’t miss her amazing blue gown.) What can’t she do? Excuse us while we belt out her Golden Globe winning song, “Shallow”, the rest of the day…
